  We had a lovely stay at the Pictou Puffin! We arrived before check in but had no problem leaving our car and taking a walk round the town - it was only about a 5 minute walk to the shore and various restaurants. When we came back our host Lori showed us around her lovely house and to our room. I liked their combination locks of each room which meant we didn't have to keep track of a key. The house was pretty and our room was very clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I'd ever slept in! Breakfast was served exactly when we'd requested and was delicious. I would definitely recommend the Puffin if you're staying in Pictou!

  The room we stayed in was perfect, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever had. I could not recommend this place enough. An absolute gem. We'll hopefully be back very soon!

  This was the highlight of our wedding evening! During the two days of the wedding we had a couple of guests stay, and we stayed the night of. Laurie and Alex were so kind and they have a beautiful property.

  We had a delightful stay at the Puffin! Our hostess was attentive and kind. She truly cared if we were having a good time in Pictou. Her house is a charming, historic treasure, full of old photos and antiques. The breakfasts are varied and healthy, generous and delicious. She happily gave directions, made good suggestions for site seeing and eating out. Will I stay there again next time? You bet.

  I first arrived the day before with a small bag of things for the night of! They were so kind to keep the bag with them and even set the room up with a fire and everything. The next morning they even extended breakfast so we could sleep in if we wanted. Before we left we just sat and had a conversation with them for about thirty minutes.

  The hostess was super friendly and helpful. The house is very grand and filled with lots of curiosities and elephants! There is free wifi and netflix available. Beds are very comfortable and you can come and go as you please.
